#workoutwednesday this makes me think!!! . 1st running 6x days a week for 60mins or longer, weekends long runs for around 2hrs eating unhealthy belive it or not, crap everyday no balance but I 'thought' I go gym so i can eat crap with no 2nd thought for my health! . 2nd is perfect for me this is gym 4x a week, balanced food & cardio, I got taught alot from @foodislife.uk lean bean cause in Summer, highly recommend taking part, Steph is so supportive and sees your goals and one of the reasons I decided to learn more, I lost alot of body fat with Steph and felt so confident on Holiday, it's so important to be comfortable in your own skin! You won't regret joining!!! . 3rd is relaxed approached, celebrating being 30 30 times 😂 which I've now stopped!!! I know it's Xmas but the amount of times I say it's the weekend, its Somone bday iits Xmas!!!🥂🙈 so few extra fat % gained, which is not healthy I know this, a little out of shape but I'm okay with that, I just needed a bit of self reflection and to give myself a little #flashback . Progress is progress not matter the timeline, the way you do it as long as you are happy and healthy enjoy the journey! . . #fitnessjourney#weightlosstransformation

YOU ARE YOUR COMPETITION...all too often I hear "I wish I was better than them" "I wish I could be like them" "I wish I was as pretty/strong/fit/shredded/lucky as them." NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!!! Why would you want to be anyone else? Do you know how unique you are? Do you know how special you are? Let me tell you, you are just amazing! I hear it a lot from my children, it upsets me a little as I grew them, moulded them in me, and I have taught them to be who they are since they gained their super little personalities around 3 months old. So when they say "I wish I was better/more clever/faster/better behaved/luckier" I say this...you my lovely boy are amazing. You are happy, gorgeous and loved. You can light up a room with your smile, can show me love like no other and can make me want nothing else than your hugs. So why when you have so much to give and are already so great would you want to be anything other than your wonderful self? You were given life, given chances, made just the way you are. Don't strive to be anything other than yourself, don't wish to be another person. Look in the mirror, be better than you were yesterday, and work towards doing it even better tomorrow. . Still wearing the @baresswear leggings because they are shamazing! They launched last week, so go and show them some love and see what they have to offer! . On #WORKOUTWEDNESDAY let's talk BALANCE. When you #exercise, it is important that you achieve balance with your training. Remember that there are hidden #muscles (like the back muscles) which also needs to be trained to achieve the perfect #body balance. That is why it is important that you know what each exercise you perform is meant to do for your body. Not just ' I want to lose weight'. ---- When I first started #exercising, I would just do any exercise at all so long as I hear it will help me burn fat. I ended up training the same muscles every week and sometimes fatigued my muscles. Today, the story is different and I like the results I see. That is why I decided to train Biceps and Back today, then ended with a 6 minute #plank finisher (total of 30 mins). Earlier this week, I trained lower body. So to achieve balance and also let the sore muscles recover, I moved on to other muscle parts. Body alignment and proper functioning is vital people. Train with intention🤛

Once our legs are fully extended our upper body then takes over to finish the movement, giving us a full body workout. ⁣ ⁣ 👊 Because we continuously row we bring our heart rate up, building our aerobic fitness while burning some serious calories. ⁣ ⁣ 👊 Good posture. When excited properly (shoulders back and down, straight back and core engaged) muscle will be built in your back and shoulders which can in turn help back pain and assist with good posture. ⁣ ⁣ So jump on the rower, build muscle and get fit all in one go! 💪💪

Doing any form of striking and grappling entails alot dynamic movement and those are the things I have to work on. . The last 2-3 years I've shifted from traditional lifting (no hate towards them) to a better version of it. I love the concepts behind @functionalpatterns because their ideology is towards respecting the body's gait cycle and is geared towards sustainable well being that respects the body's natural movement. . I literally had NO upper body strength. But I've been building it!! I saw @reviejane share it and decided to give it a go. If you are really tight for time but want to get a good sweat on I highly recommend this. ××× 150 Wall Balls (if you dont have a medicine ball at home just use a football) Everytime you take a rest from the wall balls you do 10 burpees. Do it for time,so as quick as you can. Record your time, try it again in a month and see if you can beat yourself. . . . . I did it in 10 minutes.
