Happy 4th y'all! (Patriotic rant ahead sorry) Now..amongst this shitty high strung political climate let me tell you what America means to me, as someone who has witnessed first hand some of the worst this country has to offer. Being an American is all in heart, the soul, and the desire of man. To quote one of my favs Woodrow Wilson, "America lives in the heart of every man everywhere who wishes to find a region where he will be free to work out his destiny as he chooses." It is in that same wish and grand desire where America was born. 241 years later still here is where we flourish. Let us be shunned, and shamed, and carry on that great burden of shame upon us for the crimes of which we are guilty, and crimes of which there are many. But America lay not in the spirit of today, nor yesterday, nor 241 years ago. America is that frail undying hope for a better tommorow. In a never-ending search of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness from the nightmareish realities around us, we must first dream of a better tommorow. We must dream as all greats have before us, and dream, and dream, and dream, and dream, until that dream is a reality. Until we can just inch one moment closer to the green light that oh so captivates our capacity for wonder. In a cruel, unforgiving, lost, little, world of ours, let us dream and never give up on that better tommorow. Again Happy 4th y'all🇺🇲

In honor of #nationaltheatreday I'm giving a shout out to a show I don't think I hyped up enough! (Pretentious warning here) Frankenstein was truly the first time I'd gotten to connect fully with a character. Which basically meant being in a nonstop sense of worry and agony for about 3 months BUT ANYWAYS it was an experience I'll never forget. From basically making my own lore for it (no script can stop me from my own wild interpretations/my own wild dreams just yeetin me into making a monster), to actually creating my Molly Monster's makeup during thunderstorms in a candle lit room by myself, to using Mary Shelley's own messed up reality to connect to my Frankenstein. It was a wild ride Bois, but definitely a good one!
