Wednesday = Women in Photography! Belle Kringas got into photography to improve her own confidence. It forced her to go out and talk with strangers, venture to places she’s never been to, and embrace the unexpected. Having witnessed her work with a few models on a recent shoot in the city, we think confidence is no longer something she needs to worry about. Her ability to put the model at ease, by outwardly projecting her positivity and passion ensures both photographer and talent walk away with not only some great shots, but also some great memories from the experience of being photographed. With a portfolio spanning everything from the subtle to the surreal, we can’t wait to see how she pushes the envelope as her self-belief grows! 📷 @bellekringas Models: @firstname.lastname@example.org

If Jenn's helped advance your photography in some way, leave her a thumbs up 👍 📷 @jenn.cooper
We love Wednesdays because it's the day we get to highlight the work of a female photographer! This week, we stumbled across this amazing astro shot from Robin Moon (no pun intended!) Recently named a Sony advocate, her work spans multiple genres including landscapes, seascapes, wildlife, portraits and the occasional astro image for good measure! Keep up the great work Robin! 📷 @robin_moon_photography
We love this shot of the recent lunar eclipse over Sydney. Did you know this week marks the 50th anniversary of the moon landing? Here's our random moon landing fact of the day: Photographer John C. Gontner shot the Apollo 11 launch at Cape Kennedy and used a carrier pigeon to fly film back to his office. The bird was released 15 minutes after lift-off and took 78 minutes to fly back to his Daytona Beach studio, 60 miles away. Gontner’s images made the evening edition paper! Still beats Australia's NBN 😭 📷 @chrisparryphoto
It's #WomenInPhotography Wednesday again! They say never work with children or animals. Tell that to Lizzie Gilmore of Kowhai + Thistle!
