It’s been a privilege to get a glimpse of Hawaii through the eyes of @cliff_kapono; over the last couple days the @beautifuldestinations team has been following him and capturing his story which has been eye opening to say the least. Many tourists only see beautiful beaches but don’t see areas where trash and microplastics have replaced the sand. Seeing this first hand changed my thinking and I’m grateful that I can share my experiences with people that can’t witness it themselves.
I’ve spent the last couple days in New Mexico with @beautifuldestinations capturing some incredible stories of people throughout the state. Yesterday morning we made a short detour to one of the most unique places I’ve ever visited. Arriving in the middle of the night, all we could see was the dark silhouette of Shiprock but as the sun started to rise this is what greeted us 🌄⛰ #beautifuldestinations#BDteam
Had an amazing Labor Day weekend exploring The City and getting prepared for my next adventure. Today @loganstrongarms and I embark on a journey with @beautifuldestinations to two amazing places in the US. Can’t wait to share what we’ll be up to. Can anyone guess where we are going 🤔 Hint: 🌃🌄 #BDteam
BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!! As some of you know, for the last two years I’ve been working as a structural engineer in Baltimore on some of the states largest bridges and tunnels. It’s been an insane two years trying to pursue my passion while working a full time job at the same time but I’m happy to say all the hard work paid off and I’m incredibly excited to announce that I have just joined the @beautifuldestinations team! • This job is something that I day dreamed about every single day since I picked up a camera and I am beyond thankful for the opportunity that I’ve been given. Special thanks to @tomjauncey for giving me the chance to prove myself out in AZ this spring and thanks to every single person that supported my work. • Although I’m excited for this new chapter in my life I will definitely miss the people I worked with over the last two years. Their influence on helping me become who I am was real and will not be forgotten. • Can’t wait to show you guys what we have planned this fall 🎥
Taking a break after a long day of hiking through the desert⛺️🌅 - A couple weeks ago @tomjauncey@loganstrongarms and I headed into the middle of Arizona to explore what the Southwest has to offer. We rented a Jeep with a tent on top which was perfect when we needed to take a quick rest before going to the next location. Managed to capture this during our last evening out there.
This is a shot of “Man on the horse” in Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park. I didn’t really know much about the park before going but to say it surpassed my expectations is an understatement. The vast plains contrasted by large plateaus made this one of the most unique landscapes I’ve ever visited. Exploring the park by car can be limited but on a horse the possibilities are endless
Just got back from the most epic road trip through Arizona with @loganstrongarms and @tomjauncey. We only had 72 hours but managed to see so many unique places and meet amazing locals that told us about the history of the area. This trip was something else and I’m already wanting to go back. Special thanks to @beautifuldestinations for the incredible opportunity and allowing us to experience such an amazing part of the US.
My road trip through California last month was one of the craziest I’ve ever been on. From waking up for sunrise every morning in San Fran to staying up till 5 am watching the stars in Yosemite, we saw as much as we possibly could. The footage we got was amazing and this video is some of my best work. To see the full thing hit the link in bio! @loganstrongarms@chasedevens@samuelli
Finally got around to editing my adventures through the Canadian Rockies last summer with @francoroni_ and @lukedennin . Almost wasn’t going to do anything with this footage because it’s almost a year old at this point but so glad I did 😅 Link to the full video in the bio ⬆️
