Dosa for breakfast at the palace👌🏼🤤 Legit an actual palace turned into hotel at the @rambaghpalace! My travels have become a bit more luxurious since arriving in Jaipur (mainly cause my princess @gypsea_lust has arrived haha) Stoked to be doing my last week in India with my favourite person :) we have 2 more days in Jaipur before finishing up in Udaipur! ❩ @tajhotels
Early morning cruise out on the River Ganges of Varanasi. I don’t post portraits often but I really liked this one. We spent 30 minutes on a boat with this guy, trying our best to understand the stories he was trying to tell. I’m sure he’s seen some crazy things during his lifetime! Edited using our new ‘Summer Presets’ @doyoutravelpresets 🇮🇳
Touched down in India! 🇮🇳 So stoked to be back exploring one of the most diverse and colourful countries in the world! Today was my first day in Delhi, I kinda forgot how crazy this city is! I spent my last moments of daylight at the Humayun’s Tomb - out and away from the hustle and bustle. I’ll be making a few videos here so let me know what kind of stuff you wanna see! Next stop Varanasi ❩
It’s been a crazyyy few weeks packing up our whole house into storage cause our rental ran out a few days ago! As a lot of you may know Bali has been our ‘home away from home’ for the last 2 and a half years. We love it here so much that back in July we decided we wanted to build our first ever home here on the island! It’s still a month away until it’s due so in the meantime I’m back living in hotels (which isn’t exactly a bad thing in Bali haha) With all this in mind it’s the reason I’ve been a bit quiet here lately, I definitely underestimated how much work moving house is! Anyway, loads of new content is coming cause on Friday I fly out to India for a few weeks with no solid plan! 🇮🇳 🤘🏼
One of my most memorable trips last year was when I got to visit Tokyo. Thanks to @hiltonhotels, I got to see the Tsukiji Fish Market, one of the #SevenUrbanWonders, and explore how modern and traditional collide in the city, all while staying at the Hilton Tokyo Odaiba. Check out the video on my YouTube! #RightHere#ad
New Cuba video on YouTube! 🇨🇺 I haven’t shared much from our Cuba trip on Instagram because we focused more on video but for those who don’t know we spent a week road tripping through Havana, Trinidad, Viñales, Cienfuegos, and Cayo Santa Maria. We tried to film pretty much everything we saw and experienced along the way to give you a real feel of this fascinating and unique country. This place was like nothing I’ve ever experienced, it genuinely felt like stepping back in time. A week worth of memories cut down into 4 minutes of some of our favourite moments - Let me know what you think! 🙏🏼
7 45am in the very north of Thailand. From here you can watch sunrise over 3 countries - Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos. One of the many amazing things about @anantara_goldentriangle. When you’re this far north the mornings are a lot cooler than in the south. There was a layer of fog during every sunrise during my stay which made things that extra bit more magical 🙏🏼 I’ve lost count of the amount of times I’ve visited Thailand, but this was my first time here in Chiang Rai - If you’re planning a Thailand trip I’d highly recommend this place, I can’t believe it took me this long to get here!
I just spent my last 3 days in Thailand up in Chiang Rai at the @anantara_goldentriangle. Captive elephants are a touchy subject (and for good reason) however over the last 3 days I learnt a lot about these beautiful creatures, the history of captive elephants, and the amazing work done by the team at this resort. Of course in an ideal world there would be no captive elephants. Elephants are meant to be in the wild but that’s simply not possible due to past circumstances. For thousands of years elephants have been captivated, mistreated and used for various inhumane reasons across Thailand. At Anantara all elephants have been rescued from illegal logging camps and elephant shows. They cannot be set free in the wild for obvious reasons, so the next best thing is being well looked after at ethical elephant camps like this one where they’re cared for, rehabilitated, and able to roam freely. If you do decide to visit an elephant sanctuary during your travels please do your research first and make sure you’re taking part in ethical places only!
Took a quick pit stop in Bangkok for 2 nights before heading north to Chiang Rai. You’ve probably seen the news about Bangkok being so smoggy that they had to shut schools - I could definitely feel the smog more than usual but to be honest it didn’t feel too crazy. Here’s a shot of me inhaling the smog from the 56th floor of the Lebua hotel 😷 swipe across for the vid! I’d just like to point out that me doing stuff like this isn’t encouraging others to do the same. I know my own capabilities - if you see someone doing backflips off a huge cliff it doesn’t mean you should do it too. Unless of course you know you’re capable then it’s your choice🤘🏼if you’re using this crazy thing called the internet then I’d hope you’re responsible enough to know not to copy every single thing you see online.
