I'm at the NY auto show this week. Kicked off this evening with the @jaguarusa#fpace#svr. It's got 550 hp, and Jaguar says it'll do 176 mph. Brakes are massive, and the 21 or optional 22 inch wheels are not only forged, but come in a staggered fitment where the rears are nearly an inch wider than the fronts.
The 718 Cayman sure is a pretty car, and this base model still handles beautifully. Few cars feel so nimble. So it's a shame that the 2.0-liter sounds the way it does. I know plenty of people who like it's aggressive character, but I miss the flat-six wail. #porsche#718#cayman#718cayman#carsofinstagram
Felt good to spend some time with this manual Competition Pack M4. My dad and I drove an M3 in the same color across the US a few years back. Got real acquainted with the ever present sound from the straight six and the bumps from the rigid chassis. The car is still firm, the yellow is still polarizing, and the engine still rips. @bmwusa#bmw#m4#m3
Just got back from Canada, where I spent a day at @mbusa's AMG winter driving school. It takes place on a massive frozen lake outside a town called Gimli, which is about an hour north of Winnipeg. We drove CLA45s, E63s, and C63s with studded tires on the ice, spending most of our time sideways. It was really cool to see and feel how the three different drivetrain configurations (front biased AWD, rear biased AWD, and RWD) behaved on the ice, and the experience really highlighted the importance of these kinds of driving schools. The techniques you learn and master can save you from crashing. It's a ton of fun, too. 📷 @capitolsunset
