“Go confidently in the direction of your dreams.” Do you know how many times I’ve been afraid? A lot. How about how many times I’ve held back from doing something because of fear? Hmm, less. The thing is, you can’t progress or even get close to having what you want if you keep doing the things you’ve always done. Choose to do new things! It’s equally frightening and exciting; and you’ll see that in the end, you’ll look back and laugh at yourself for being filled with doubt. Just go. Fearfully and confidently, go.

My friends and I biked down the worlds most dangerous road, a.k.a the road of death, El Camino de la Muerte, and it was freakin’ loco! Pouring rain, freezing cold, loose rocks, slippery roads, impossible to see clearly with the water and dirt flying in our faces, and high altitude so a lack of oxygen. That was definitely the most dangerous thing I’ve ever done but it was also the most thrilling! (P.s we were hauling ass down this road) Description: The road first ascends to around 4,650 metres (15,260 ft) at La Cumbre Pass, before descending to 1,200 metres (3,900 ft) at the town of Coroico, transiting quickly from cool Altiplano terrain to rainforest as it winds through very steep hillsides and atop cliffs. The largely single-lane road has few guard rails and cliffs of up to 600 metres (2,000 feet). Most of the road is the width of a single vehicle, about 3.2 metres (10 ft). During the rainy season from November to March, rain and fog can severely hamper visibility, and water runoff can turn the road into a muddy track, affecting traction. Que chingon! #deathroadsurvivors#caminodelamuerte#deathroad#bolivia#sorrymomanddad#intteflacademy
