Every kid deserves a bike—that’s the message at the heart of Blackstone Bicycle Works. As a part of @expstation, Blackstone Bicycle Works is more than just a shop; it’s a place where kids can learn to ride, repair, and build bikes. With many participants coming back for at least three to seven years, Blackstone Bicycle Works took a simple childhood joy—riding bikes around the neighborhood—and turned it into a project to give back to the community.
ALS has no known cure. That’s not stopping I AM ALS from starting a movement to find one. As 2008 Obama presidential campaign staffers, Brian and Sandra met and fell in love. Then in 2017, Brian was diagnosed with ALS. Now, this couple is using the lessons they learned on the campaign trail to take charge in the fight against the disease.
