From #NikonAmbassador@debsandidge: “Happy #ThrowbackThursday to beautiful Chicago! 📷💜 To include the sky and all of the interesting detail of Buckingham Fountain, I used my @nikonusa D810 and NIKKOR 16-35mm wide-angle lens, shooting several seconds for the silky smooth water features. This fountain is a must-see when in Chicago, one of favorite places to photograph during the blue hour. Have a wonderful day! #nikonnofilter#nikonambassador#bluehour#chicago#buckinghamfountain#travelphotography#cityscapes#longexposure”
#Nikon photographer @smaku used the Z 7 to capture a vibrant sunrise: "The sun rises behind a mountain of ice. Shoveling all that snow after the rain was quite the workout. Does this make up for the gym day that I missed? . Nikon Z 7, 1/200 sec., f/14, ISO 200, 35mm f/1.8 S lens . #NikonNoFilter#Z7#NikonZ7#Toronto#Winter”
From #NikonAmbassador@daveblackphoto: “Sunset light on Mono Lake is beautiful, but I wanted my picture to look more unique than other Tufa images I’ve seen. With my #D4s camera mounted to a tripod I used a slow shutter speed of 30 seconds to allow enough time for the lake water to move during the exposure. The sky saturation/exposure is preserved using a 3x Graduated Neutral Density Filter. The result is an almost icy look to Mono Lake and a more ‘dream like’ motion in the clouds. @nikonusa#nikonnofilter#monolake#tufa#landscapephotography#slowshutterspeed#photographytips#monolakecalifornia#dreamscape#incameraeffects”
It's peak time for #Firefall! Each year during this time in February, the setting sun can hit #HorsetailFalls at just the right angle to illuminate the water and make it appear to glow orange and red. Have you been following along with our #longexposure challenge? @sg.captures and @DMPhotosNM shared what they’re capturing using a slow shutter speed. Learn about their shots below and share your long exposure techniques and photos with us using #NikonNoFilter! 📷 Sunset in San Diego: #Nikon photographer @DMPhotosNM used the #D850 and AF-S NIKKOR 14-24mm f/2.8 at ISO 64, f/14 and 1.6s shutter speed to capture the water’s motion. 📷 Lighthouse at Dusk: With the #D3400, photographer @sg.captures shot a picturesque evening in Michigan: “Point Betsie Lighthouse is such a beautiful place. This was a beautifully moody evening (fire sunset/afterglow to the south & dark clouds to the north) and I'm so glad I was able to capture it!” 📷 #LongExposurePhotography#WaterPhotography#Michigan#Sunset#Nature#NaturePhotography#NikonNoFilter
This #ValentinesDay, we’re sharing how some of our #NikonAmbassadors fell in love with photography! Learn how @iamDIXIEDIXON and @JenRozenbaum got their start and swipe through for some of their favorite images they’ve created. 📷 @iamDixieDixon: "I fell in love with #fashionphotography during a study abroad program! Everything about photography spoke to my soul – from the creative process, to the self-expression and the chance to work with a dream team in the process!" Shot with the #Z6. 📷 @JenRozenbaum: “I fell in love with photography at my first #boudoir shoot. Empowering a woman in that way was a feeling I hadn't experienced before. I ran home and exclaimed to my husband ‘I know what I want to be when I grow up, a #boudoirphotographer!’ And the rest is history!” Shot with the #Z7.
For #Nikon100 photographer @KiamarieStone, there’s no shortage of moments to capture in her daily life. “From my family, to my puppy to even my beautiful new engagement ring; I find myself documenting all the moments I want to remember forever. If it's a moment worth remembering, you can best believe I'm taking a photograph of it! I love my D4 but these days I find myself using my #Z7 & F-mount 85mm lens more because it's lightweight, great in low light situations & the live view feature allows me to see how true to life an image will look as I adjust my settings in real time.” Swipe through to see her #weddingphotography. • Gear: Bride & Groom: Z 7, AF-S NIKKOR 35mm f/1.4G and Mount Adapter FTZ at f/2.8, 1/200, ISO 1000 Bride with Flowers: D610 & AF-S VR Micro-NIKKOR 105mm f/2.8G IF-ED at f/3.5, 1/250, ISO 400 Wedding Invitation: D610 & AF-S VR Micro-NIKKOR 105mm f/2.8G IF-ED at f/2.8, 1/250, ISO 400 • Share your wedding and portrait photography with #NikonNoFilter for a chance to be showcased during our livestream at @WPPIEvents! #WPPI#WPPI2019 #Wedding#WeddingPhotographer#MirrorlessReinvented#CaptureTomorrow#NikonZ7#ZSeries

#Nikon photographer @jsn_pdog photographed the night sky over Jekyll Island: “Another one from my first Milky Way shoot of the year. I had taken a sunrise shot in this exact same spot back in January and knew I wanted to see how the MW looked from there. It was a tough shot and even harder edit but here it is. To get this with decent focus throughout the scene I had to focus stack and then blend the two results. One shot for sky and one shot for foreground. Exposure remained the same for both shots. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 📷: Nikon D850 with Nikkor 14-24mm. 25 seconds at f/2.8, ISO 5000, 14mm.” #astrophotography#astro#D850#NikonD850#MilkyWay
