@jdleigh Photography has become somewhat of a creative outlet for me, one that I’ve enjoyed mostly for myself, but If there’s one thing I’ve really taken away from this app over the last year, it’s no question the people I’ve been able to connect with. @natashaexplores and I met in Vancouver for a random sunset hike and have been buds ever since...she’s just one of many creatives that I’m so thankful to now consider a friend. If only she’d get her butt to Alberta for some more adventures!! Also, next time you can walk across this bridge 🙈 Equal parts in frame and behind the camera .
@theojamestaylor Y'all remember that treehouse I've been talking about over and over again? Well here it is in all its glory, and damn it was amazing. Roughly 550 sq feet with a loft bedroom, wrap around balcony and pure, completely homemade in almost every way. The personal touches were amazing, free hot chocolate and popcorn and even a small movie selection made for a cozy night. A creek runs right beneath the place for ambient noise and the tin roof provided an amazing cozy atmosphere with the light rain. All in all this was a perfect getaway for any couple, and I would highly recommend booking it. If you want to go here yourself, it is a little out of the way. Situated in Likely, British Columbia. It's called the Shaky Knees Treehouse and you can easily find it on airbnb. No other airbnb I've stayed in has compared to this one yet. So cool!
@jdleigh Last week I set my alarm for 330am, and regardless of the pouring rain, I took a chance, hopped in my car, and drove to Lake Louise to chase sunrise at arguably the most photographed location in Canada 💕 I was one of the first people to arrive, and therefore sat for over an hour watching as the clouds began to dissipate, giving way to that glorious morning light. Even with hundreds of bystanders vying for position near the shoreline, everyone stopped and stood still in complete silence as the sun lit up the towering peaks, watching their reflections dance in the water below. It was if we all found a way to coincide in a moment of tranquility that only Moraine Lake promises to deliver again and again. I still have to pinch myself that this view is literally outside my door
@espenfadnes It's always inspiring to be part of a rad crew. You come home from your own thing, wingsuit base or a skydive, grab a drink a have a look at what the others spent the day doing. This is what @malachitempleton and @jamie_lee_speedflyer did one of those days. I felt they nailed it...while our XRW was like...well it was cool. Yeah boys. You are so damn skilled! Love it!
