Despite the buckets and buckets of rain, it was so cool watching the unveiling of Winnie Mandela’s sculpture in the #LongMarchtoFreedom National Heritage Monument today. Also amazing to hear Dali Tambo speak about his parents’ love story and the history of this incredible heritage project. If you haven’t been to see the Long March to Freedom at @maropengsa yet: Go go go!
An artist applies patina to a bronze sculpture at @workhorsebronze in downtown Joburg. We had an amazing art walk this morning, meeting one of artists behind the #LongMarchToFreedom project (@nkhensani7) and learning how bronze sculptures are made. Thanks @maropengsa and everyone who participated!
